Here’s a short test run of the new lifts added to Block Puzzle? Block Puzzle! 2, including their (non-)interaction with ghost blocks.
You can also see the new drag-and-drop-ish controls for the spirit orb here, which replace the old push-around-by-clicking controls, which felt entirely too clumsy.
Here are a couple of shots of the 3rd level of the last area, the Fiery Deep. The first screenshot is the level as it appears in my level editor, Wasabi M; the second screen shot is the level as it appears in the game.
(This level will probably be moved to a little later in the Fiery Deep area, since it’s really too challenging to be the 3rd level.)

A few sound effects for block movement have been added in this version as well.
Here’s an experiment with a puzzle that requires the player to setup ghostly blocks on a wooden walkway then use the mouse to bat around a spirit ball in order to transform the ghost blocks into regular blocks, causing them to crash through the walkway and onto the triggers.

The goal is to build passageways for the (rather incompetent) hero to wander through — longer, twistier passages that lead the hero to treasure and encounters with monsters are best, of course.
